In Maggio 2019 Discoteca Clandestina è stata invitata a presentare una lecture/djset performance per l’apertura di Harbinger, alla Kunsthal di Gent, in Belgio.

Organizzato dal gruppo 2018-2019 di studi curatoriali della scuola Kask di Gent, Harbinger è una rassegna di conferenze, film ed una mostra basata sul terreno d’incontro tra arte e scienza.
Ispirata dalla definizione di “harbinger” (precursore), col suo significato più ampio indicando qualcosa o qualcuno che predice quello che deve venire, il programma è stato costruito sulla nozione di predizione.

HARBINGER è un indagine su alcuni degli aspetti che approssimano e distinguono simultaneamente il campo e la pratica di arte e scienza. Dimensioni come la predizione, l’intuizione e la predizione giocano un ruolo particolare in entrambi i sistemi.
Harbinger invita il pubblico a dirigersi verso l’ignoto attraverso entrambe le discipline ed accogliere ciò che deve ancora venire.

In May 2019 Discoteca Clandestina has been invited to perform a live lecture/djset performance for the opening night of Harbinger in Kunsthal, Gent, Belgium.
Organized by the 2018-2019 group of curatorial studies from Kask school in Gent, Harbinger was a series of lectures, films and exhibition based on the common grounds between art and science. Inspired by the definition of a harbinger – with its broader meaning indicating something or someone foretelling what is to come, the programme was built under the notion of prediction.

HARBINGER​ is an inquiry on some of the aspects that simultaneously approximate and distinguish the fields and practices of art and science. Dimensions such as prediction, intuition and foretelling play a particular role in both systems. ​Harbinger​ invites the audience to aim at the unknown through both disciplines to welcome what is next.

Come parte del programma di Harbinger, è stata creata anche una pubblicazione, intitolata “Harbinger III: Imperfect Agreements”. Ho contribuito con un progetto inedito del 2016, Ocruxaves Pesunica, che è nato come una sorta di prequel premonitore di quello che Discoteca Clandestina sarebbe diventato appena un anno dopo.

As a part of Harbinger programme, a publication has also been made, called “Harbinger III: Imperfect Agreements”. I contributed to that with an unpublished project made in 2016, Ocruxaves Pesunica, that was born as a sort of forecasting prequel of what Discoteca Clandestina would have become just a year later.
